Five New Songs!
Right, here you go, as promised, some new stuff. Five songs this time - two originals, and three covers; I decided to re-cover some of my more popular VG remixes in experimental styles.
ORIGINAL
Destination Emptiness - A trance, futuristic song I was inspired to write while playing Locomotion.
Destination Epic - Not sure about this one. I’ve been playing Audiosurf, and wanted to make something epic.
RE-COVERS
Ice Cap from Sonic
Overworld from Zelda
Flying Battery from Sonic
You’ll find them all at http://cloud9nine.com/blogrel. Enjoy, and please do not distribute, simply link people here instead. I need the traffic!
No commentsCodeblocks Contest!
I’m opening a contest to end March 1st.
Put together the best single-file original code you can, whether it be for business, comedy, or whatever you feel like. Just save it with a title name of “Contest Myname”. At the end, the five entries with the most pageviews will be thrown in a vote, and the winner will receive a year’s free hosting - full developer addons included - at CloudNine.
Garry’s Mod servers no longer to be offered
After the latest update to Garry’s Mod, the dedicated server binaries for Linux and Windows are pretty much broken beyond repair. They use literally 30-40% CPU with no objects spawned and no players connected, and in order to spawn content from CSS and Orange Box require a literal 4GB of diskspace per server - HLDS doesn’t seem to work with symlinks, so we can’t save any space that way.
So, unfortunately, we’re no longer going to offer Gmod servers. CSS, TF2, and other Source-based games will still be offered.
No commentsForum?
Should I put a small forum online for Codeblocks discussion and linking to files?
What do you think? Good idea?
Please comment.
