ReCAPTCHA enabled
As posted on the C9WS site, I’ve enabled ReCAPTCHA on all my sites, scripts and forms; this should help combat spam.

Codeblocks 3
CodeBlocks 2 was a good script, I thought.
Good, but not great. I don’t think it’s anywhere near the quality it could be for a script of its type.
So, I’m pulling CB for the time being. Big thanks to the two people who bought it (lol), but I’ve refunded your $10. I’ll be working on CB3 on and off, hopefully getting it out sometime next year.
I’ll also be licensing CB3 under the CC BY-NC-ND 3.0 USA license, making it freeware.

Global Warming Interview
I recently sat down with a biologist from the U.S. Geological Survey to conduct an interview for a collection being compiled at my school. It was quite interesting, actually, so I’m posting on my blog. He did ask to remain anonymous in the online version, though. Click the button on the top right of the iPaper window to view it full screen, or alternatively, click here to download the PDF. It’s uneditable and can’t be exported. If you’d like a copy, contact me. I reserve all rights to this document, and it may not be used by anyone for any purpose without prior permission.

Google Chrome actually doesn’t suck.
I’m repealing my previous comments about Google Chrome.
I’ve spent some time with it and its features, and it’s actually a very nice browser that one-ups Firefox in a lot of ways. Has GChrome replaced Epiphany in my heart? No. But it’s certainly a start.

Script Development Temporarily Suspended
I’m incredibly busy with life right now, and really don’t have time for much of anything. As such, I’m placing all C9 script development on hold until mid-November. I’ll release hotfixes for urgent issues (IE security holes and unusuable code), but I won’t be adding any new features or working on any scripts in development for a while.

iPhone-Friendly CloudNine
I know I posted back in July that I’d finish up a mobile skin for the CloudNine business site. That’s never going to happen - I really don’t have time to code anything right now. I did, however, fix up the skin we’re using to (hopefully) work fine with iPhone and PSP. Contact me if you encounter problems!

Bonjour, universités!
This post is aimed specifically at any college admissions officers who may be reading my blog. This is primarily a personal medium; I rant about stuff, post random files I’ve created and generally announce new code, etc. It’s a personal endeavour, and not really connected in any way to my academic career. Please forgive my fanatical stances on open source software and GNU/Linux, but please do consider my experience with it when weighing my application. I realize this is probably your 274th application today, but please keep an open mind when browsing my web life.
